The amateur video flowing out of Alberta almost rivals that of the flood waters which have caused such heavy damage in the province from rains that pounded down on Thursday, June 20th. It’s been astonishing to see the amount of water rushing through rivers filled with mud, destroying property, swallowing up trees, wiping out bridges and generally wreaking havoc.
Here we see the Sheep River in Okotoks, and I am assuming that it usually does not look like this. Here’s hoping it stops looking like this soon for the sake of the people of Okotoks. Best of luck to all having to clean up after Mother Nature in Alberta.
