This is a cool little video about atomic energy and weapons put together from archived footage found on Archive.org. It is interesting to look back at these clips from a bygone era, before Three Mile Island, before Chernobyl and before Fukishima, when nuclear energy was in it’s infancy. We’ve learned many lessons from those days on one hand, but continue to build nuclear reactors on the other. It appears that we will always have a complicated relationship with nuclear energy. It has great benefits, and horrific negatives. Are the risks worth the reward?
