Flying a small plane without an engine? Sounds a bit scary, but it also looks quite exhilarating….and scary. Judging by this short video by Calgary cinematographer Greg Nuspel, it’s a hobby that has passionate followers (even though it looks scary). These are some of the glider flying folks from the Cu Nim Gliding Club near Calgary, Alberta.
“This is my entry for the Stillmotion challenge about a group of enthusiastic glider pilots in the Calgary area. I have to thank Stillmotion for this challenge it was a great learning experience. Hard to do totally solo for sure and one thing about a gliding club is you can’t be sure who will be there each day so my one ‘P’ was a little loose. Shot with a Sony NEX FS100.”
