Although this was shot in 2011, apparently, this just popped up on Vimeo the other day. Here is a short film about a day in the life of a model (Alexandra van Essen) living in Edmonton….sort of. Not all of the details are there. We don’t, for example, know what she ate for breakfast.
Shot in Black and White, there isn’t a whole lot of talking, or indeed a whole lot of action all together, in this film. But it is somewhat of a nice look at what it’s like behind the scenes in the high flying modelling world. I don’t necessarily think of high flying modelling world when I think of Edmonton, but I guess that is my own narrow, possibly stereotypical view of the city.
