It has been less than two weeks since a devastating 7.8 magnitude earthquake stuck Nepal. The scale of the destruction and loss of life has been catastrophic. Relief agencies have been struggling to provide much-needed assistance.
The Government of Canada has pledged to match personal donations made by Canadians towards relief efforts through until May 25, 2015.
Starting today, Manitoba Liquor Marts and the Casinos of Winnipeg will also be collecting donations to the Canadian Red Cross Nepal Region Earthquake Fund.
