In this video, Filmmaker Matthew Rankin (www.rankino.com) has captured some of Winnipeg’s apartment buildings and their names which often glorify a run down, dated square box into a glamorous estate fit for a queen. But, we’re not fooled, are we? No. To make the video even hipper than hip, it has been done with a Super 8 camera, I think. Or, maybe it’s a video camera with an effect. Or maybe its…okay, face it, I’m not a filmmaker. I don’t know these things. What I do know is that I like this video.
