I’ve been lucky enough to see Winnipeg based comic JD Renaud a number of times, and he never ceases to blow me away. I recently saw him being described as a an “alt” comic. I’m not even sure what that means. Is he a little odd? YES! And that is what is so brilliant about him. I think? Anyway, he’s funny. Here’s a little DIY video giving a sneak peak into his 2013 Winnipeg Fringe entry, ‘Self Destructivism’.
