Margaret Laurence interview, 1966

Neepawa, Manitoba born Margaret Laurence gives an interview to a CBC in 1966. Watch in amazement as Ms. Laurence smokes a cigarette throughout the entire interview. My, how have times changed. I also love the old lawn chairs. Oh how I remember the uncomfortable plastic weave and how over time the metal frame would bend, making the chair lean over until you eventually tumble to the ground. But of course, most importantly, are the words, thoughts and ideas of an important modern Canadian female writer.
